HEAL YOUR PAIN

Heel Pain

INGROW PAINFUL TOE NAILS

Heel pain is one of the more common and painful foot conditions we treat at Family First Podiatry.
The tricky thing about heel pain is that many of the causes of pain in your heel mimic each other. If your podiatrist does not identify the correct problem, they could be wasting your time and your money; worst of all, they could be doing more harm than good. This is why it is so important that you take the time to find the best podiatrist in
Southern Martin County and Northern Palm Beach County including: Palm City, Stuart, Hobe Sound, Jensen Beach, Port Salerno, Port St. Lucie, Jupiter, Tequesta to diagnose and treat your heel pain.

While many ingrown toenails resolve themselves or require little treatment, there are times when an ingrown toenail can go from an annoying sore spot to a serious, even life-threatening infection. Our physicians will help determine the severity of the toenail infection and the best course of action. Most ingrown toenails can be resolved painlessly in the office if caught early enough.

At Family First Podiatry we encourage you to come in at the first sign of an ingrown toenail.

GET FUNGAL NAILS

Fungal Nails

Clearing your Nails

Toenail fungus infections are a common foot health problem and can continue for years without ever causing pain. The disease, characterized by a change in a toenail's color, is often considered nothing more than a flaw or imperfection. If it’s left untreated, however, it can cause more serious problems.
Toenail fungus, also referred to as onychomycosis, is an infection underneath the surface of the nail, which may also break through the nail. It’s often accompanied by a secondary bacterial and/or yeast infection affecting the nail plate, which ultimately can lead to difficulty and pain when walking or running. Dr. Kristin Blanchet will cut the nails and recommend proper treatment which may potentially include: topical treatment, oral medication, and or laser.
